Nick Alex for Congress Receives Georgia AFL-CIO Endorsement 

ATLANTA, GA – The Nick Alex for Congress campaign today proudly announced its endorsement from the Georgia AFL-CIO for the Democratic primary in Georgia’s 9th Congressional District, marking a major milestone and underscoring the campaign’s growing momentum as a people-powered movement focused on working families. 

The Georgia AFL-CIO, representing nearly one million members across the state, recognized Alex’s commitment to advocating for fair wages, safe working conditions, and economic policies that prioritize the needs of everyday Georgians. 

"This endorsement is a powerful statement about the kind of campaign we are building and the kind of leadership North Georgia deserves," said Nick Alex. This endorsement comes at a time of significant growth for the campaign. What began as a grassroots effort has rapidly expanded into one of the most energized campaigns in the district, driven by direct voter engagement and community organizing. 

To date, the campaign has raised more than $130,000 from over 420 individual donors and built a volunteer network of more than 340 people across Georgia’s 9th Congressional District. This broad base of support reflects a campaign powered by everyday people who are ready for change.

With over 340 volunteers and hundreds of grassroots donors, we are proving that a people-powered campaign can compete and win. This momentum is real, and it’s growing every single day." 

The Nick Alex campaign has spent months traveling throughout the district, hosting town halls, meeting with voters, and listening to the concerns of working families. From affordability challenges to access to healthcare and economic opportunity, the campaign continues to center the voices of the people it seeks to represent.
